Popping in to put two SACRED MONSTER events on your radar — and I’m particularly excited as one of them will be my first live streamed lecture, giving everyone the option to tune in !
Thursday, August 27th at 730pm I’ll be appearing at the very chic new Echo Park-based art book shop/gallery The Loved One in conversation with Rose Apodaca and Michael Schmidt to launch Sacred Monster Vol 2. The event is free to attend with RSVP at the link.
Wednesday, September 2nd at 7pm I’ll be lecturing in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Jean Cocteau’s masterpiece La Belle et La Bête (1946) at my beloved hang, the Philosophical Research Society. Tickets are $15 and all proceeds benefit their library fund — and it’s totally up to you if you want to attend IN PERSON or ON ZOOM (!!!!!!) Info at the link !
